Enrollment Questions

Financial Aid

Shearz Institute is an Accredited Institution with The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission. Once you’ve decided to enroll, the next step is selecting a financial plan to cover your tuition. Financial Aid is available for qualified students. As an accredited institution, Shearz Institute offers various options to help you navigate this process.

We participate in the Federal Title IV Program which includes:

  • Pell Grants
  • Subsidized Stafford Direct Loans
  • Unsubsidized Stafford Direct Loans
  • Federal Parent PLUS Direct Loans

Our programs also provide a range of flexible payment options. We understand the importance of making a thoughtful, informed decision about your financial plan, both while you're in school and after graduation. That’s why we also discuss loan repayment options, if applicable, during this process.

Federal Pell Grants

A Pell Grant is a federal financial aid award that does not require repayment. It is an entitlement program, meaning recipients will receive the grant as long as they meet the eligibility criteria. The award amount is determined by the U.S. Department of Education based on the student’s financial need. Typically, Federal Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and have not yet earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degreeS.

The U.S. Department of Education offers Direct Subsidized Loans and Direct Unsubsidized Loans to eligible students at participating institutions. Borrowers are responsible for repaying these loans, regardless of program completion or employment status.
